What We Actually Measure (Real Data)

These metrics are scraped directly from the website's HTML and are 100% accurate:

  • Word Count: Total text content on the homepage
  • Image Count: Number of <img> tags
  • Video Content: Presence of video embeds (YouTube, Vimeo) or <video> tags
  • Internal Links: Count of links pointing to pages on the same domain
  • H1 Tags: Number of primary heading tags
  • Meta Tags: Title length, description length, Open Graph tags, schema markup
  • HTTPS: Whether the site uses secure protocol
  • Mobile-Friendly: Presence of viewport meta tag

What We Estimate (Algorithmic Approximations)

Why estimate? Real Domain Authority requires expensive API access and backlink index. Our estimate gives you a rough idea based on on-page quality signals.

Monthly Organic Traffic

Formula:

Traffic = (estimatedDA × 50) + (wordCount / 2)

Accuracy: Highly variable, for educational purposes only

Why estimate? Real traffic data requires Google Analytics access or expensive SEO tools. This approximation assumes higher DA sites get more traffic.

Ranking Keywords

Formula:

Keywords = (wordCount / 10) + (internalLinks × 1.5)

Accuracy: Ballpark estimate only

Why estimate? Real keyword rankings require SERP tracking. More content usually ranks for more keywords.

Backlinks

Formula:

Backlinks = (estimatedDA × 8) + internalLinks

Accuracy: Very rough approximation
